What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Minimize wxLauncher.
2. Restore wxLauncher.

Alternatively, the buttons may partially clip over the status bar after launching FSO or after keeping the launcher on for an extended period of time. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expected is for the bottom buttons and the status bar to remain separate from one another. Instead, the buttons partly or completely overlap with the status bar.

Developer's notes: neither of us have been able to reproduce these issues, so we may have to work one-on-one with one or more people having this issue. It's almost certainly related to the sizers, but the exact cause is not immediately obvious.

Attached is a comparison image from Axem: "left is normal, right is minimized + restore"

mjn.mixael has recently said that he's been unable to reproduce this bug, but it most likely hasn't gone away, so we'll leave this ticket open.

Just an FYI. This issue returned for me. I'm not sure why it disappeared for a while.

Okay, something to try.

  1. Start wxLauncher, let it download the news.
  2. Shutdown wxLauncher.
  3. Edit global.ini in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\wxLauncher
  4. Replace "thenews" line to read with the news line from the issue85 .news.txt file attached to this comment.
  5. Save file.
  6. Start wxLauncher. Notice that your highlights are just "First Hightlight", "Second Highlight", etc.

With your highlights like that, see if you can reproduce the issue.

Thanks

Followed the instructions. I could definitely still reproduce.
