I am Fran Garcia and I started in the world of programming more than 35 years ago, with Basic and Amstrad CPC. I made the jump to C at age 15 and, for more than 10 years (1990-2001), I was a self-taught amateur programmer. In 2002 I began my studies in Computer Engineering at the University of Alicante. In 2008 I joined the world of professional development.

The NAppGUI project is a spin-off of iMech, another project of mine. It was a physics simulator based on Lagrangian Dynamics. In 2015 I started to migrate all the cross-platform code I developed for iMech to a new project and named it NAppGUI.

I have used NAppGUI in commercial projects as a freelance/in-house developer. In August 2021 I published it as OpenSource on GitHub.

I work on the maintenance of NAppGUI in my limited free time, but the number of users is growing and I would like to spend more time on it. That is why your sponsorship is so important.
