Cross-platform sb-rn-get-stories output

Summary

We're using Storybook in a cross-platform component project, have been for some time. We recently upgraded to Storybook 8 (v8.3.6), and there's one outstanding issue we'd like to get feedback on.

When running sb-rn-get-stories on different OS types, we get different outputs in .storybook/storybook.requires.ts (typically MacOS vs Windows, but I also keep an Ubuntu WSL2 distro handy for debugging). Here's an example:

Has anything else dealt with this? We tried gitignoring it recently but that caused other issues. Any advice appreciated.

@dannyhw Any thoughts? I am not sure what sb-rn-get-stories even does. I am missing a bit of context here.

This is what generates the imports from the main.ts file since we don't have virtual modules in metro yet.

Adding this to gitignore is probably the right move assuming that you have the withStorybook metro stuff setup then it will always get generated when you run metro anyway.

the output here is different im assuming because you have someone on windows and windows handles slashes differently

I checked with my team and they thought there were issues with Jest at the time (this is backed up by the commit log).

Decided to give it another go on 8, and it looks to be okay. Thanks for the confirmation!
