UPDATE
As you know, Home Assistant is a rabbit hole, a time sink. So I've added more components which means I need to update the screens.
+The Living room part of my Home dashboard.
+Random stats about my Home Assistant instance and automations. I soon plan on setting up InfluxDB, Glances, and Grafana but that is for another time.
+My second pride and joy, my home theater room dashboard. Still working on it, but it has all my gaming, TV, and music related interests on it.
I am working on setting up Tautulli for managing my Plex server. I am also thinking about migrating the server to dedicated hardware and not on my Mac Mini.
+Seeing as I am only a renter of this townhouse, I can't really put any devices on the meter to monitor my energy usage but what I can do is use smart plugs and devices that natively monitor energy usage.
+This kiosk is in progress, but I'm going to mount it in the hallway so that when I walk in, I can monitor the cameras throughout the house and disarm the alarm. When I leave I can also start/stop a vacuum session as well.
Now to the meat of it. This section is the basis of my Home Assistant instance.
Here you'll find my dashboards, add-ons, custom extensions and more.
If you really don't want to click around, here ya go.
Under construction
This is still a work in progress. Check back later.

 + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +I've got two Xiaomi Roborock vacuums, a renewed S5 and a brand new S6 Pure. I also have the H7 Stick vacuum which isn't "smart", just cordless.
 + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +I'm currently using Pihole for this. Once I get that up and running, I plan on spinning up a VPN from Tailscale.
+On Home Assistant OS, you can install the Tailscale addon in the Add-on store.

I've moved all of my Docker containers to Proxmox VMs, which you can check out on the Proxmox page!
Note
I am running a small server farm in my house, and in an effort to redesign my dashboards, I wanted to run another version of Home Assistant on a headless server running in Docker. This meant that I had to learn more about HA Supervised. Since digging into how that works, I am debating whether I should move my whole system to a Docker install running HA Supervised.
I am currently paying for Nabu Casa and for a quick and dirty external access solution it is well worth of the $6.
Last year when I started this project, Home Assistant was a different animal entirely. So I tried to hack together DuckDNS and Cloudflare as a proxy so that I could access Home Assistant remotely. Back then, I was new to networking and Home Assistant, and I know I screwed it up. Even so, the tools then were primative to the ones we have now.
 + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +This page describes my system setup. Here you can find software I rely on for running my smart home system.
This is the main software I use on my NUC. It was my first setup and is my favorite. It is beginning to grow in size, backups are around 36gb so I am beginning to test the Docker configuration, though I don't intend to work with it completely as the add-on store is so useful.
I am experimenting with Docker on my Synology. Check out the Docker for a list of my containers.
