In STEP 1: Install the Pledge software on your smartphone or computer, as of 2014-12-15:

Clicking the Mac OS X download link results in a pledge_2.2-29275_macosx 2.app file in the browser's default downloads folder, but does not itself kick off installation of the Pledge OTP app. Additional instructions may be needed to help the user find and open this file.
