Does this block you from using Warp daily?

Yes, this issue prevents me from using Warp daily.

Is this an issue only in Warp?

Yes, I confirmed that this only happens in Warp, not other terminals.

Additionally, can you check if you are able to repro this on the previous Warp version:
https://releases.warp.dev/stable/v0.2024.12.18.08.02.stable_05/warp-terminal_0.2024.12.18.08.02.stable.05_amd64.deb

@alokedesai I tried updating it through the command that is given to me when updating warp, after the terminal re-launch it's still the same version stable_03 and the update button is still there. I'm on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

@dcodesdev @bighunter513 @dpinol
Remove Warp sudo apt remove warp-terminal
and get prev version https://releases.warp.dev/stable/v0.2024.12.18.08.02.stable_04/warp-terminal_0.2024.12.18.08.02.stable.04_amd64.deb
then sudo dpkg -i warp-terminal_0.2024.12.18.08.02.stable.04_amd64.deb

And let us know if the issue reproduces on the previous version.

@dannyneira This worked, thanks! But the update button is still there, should I go ahead and update it or wait until the next update?

@dannyneira with the new version it started immediately. And btw, it feels like hotkey triggers the top terminal appearance quicker than ever. 👏
