Dupe Check

Describe the bug

AI was quite unhelpful in upgrading the pnpm. See this:

image

This was the latest of a series of my attempts to get an answer from AI on why my project is still showing old pnpm --version. The AI never suggested the correct answer:

corepack use pnpm@9.15.3

To reproduce

  1. Use old version of pnpm in a project using corepack.
  2. Install new version globally using corepack.
  3. Check pnpm --version - it's still old version.
  4. Ask Warp AI what to do.

Expected behavior

The AI should suggest the corepack use command after suggesting the corepack prepare --activate command.

Additional context

Note: Not sure if problems related to AI responses are considered bug reports. I did not find any alternative venue for this. If this should be feedback somewhere else, just let me know.

Does this block you from using Warp daily?

No

Is this an issue only in Warp?

Yes, I confirmed that this only happens in Warp, not other terminals.
