Recording a session breaks copy/paste

When recording a session using wezterm record copy/paste is misbehaving. It tends to paste ascii codes instead of characters.
A short sample:

ls -lah57;32;1;0;1_.confi1;34;103;1;0;1_/bashrc;46;99;0;0;1_.d/

Same output is visible afterwards in wezterm replay.

Sometimes also the input line breaks. It looks like it shifts few pixels up and as such it shatters the commands being written.

I'm not sure whether it is some kind of misbehavior of the recording feature or I'm missing some kind of configuration to prevent such behavior.
