This page describes the compatibility requirements to run BlackWidow.

Important

Keep your software up-to-date. For instance, if you're experiencing issues on an old Paper build, we'll ask you to try with the latest.

Although running BlackWidow with server software of a compatible version should work (see table below), if it's not also listed as a supported version, we likely won't be able to assist if something breaks (and in that case, we encourage you to investigate).

Notes:

1. PaperMC provides features used by BlackWidow such as asynchronous command suggestion filtration, which aren't possible on SpigotMC. BlackWidow will automatically choose what features to enable depending on your server software.
