Once you [become a Chartbeat member](http://chartbeat.com/signup), you can use this plugin to automatically add the necessary JavaScript to your WordPress blog. After installing the plugin, you’ll instantly see your site’s traffic, and audience behaviors. 

== Installation ==

1. Sign up for Chartbeat
1. Upload ‘chartbeat.php’ to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
1. Under Settings > Chartbeat, add your User ID
1. (Optional) Add your API key and configure the widget
1. (Optional) Drag the widget into your sidebar under Appearance > Widgets
