MapTiler

Accurate Stimuli Presentation Software

Further information is available from the Assisting Search and Rescue through Visual Attention website.

About

MapTiler is used for comparing different presentation methods for presenting imagery to subjects in an accurate and controlled manner. This software was used for the Assisting Search and Rescue through Visual Attention thesis by James Mardell <james.mardell@imperial.ac.uk> in 2014.

The code here should function on Mac OS X and Ubuntu Linux without modification.

Some files have been removed due to licensing restrictions and to keep the size of the repository manageable. The following files may be referenced within the source code, but have been removed:

  • Helvetica.ttf: a common True-Type font
  • tiles/*: all the stimuli used for the experiments
  • rsvpe-introduction.m4v: all introduction videos
