- ISITEK is a 2D unstructured discontinuous galerkin PDE solver
- Non-linear PDEs and boundary conditions are specified at runtime in the input file
- PDEs are solved for a number of outer iterations in a coupled manner using newton (or newton-like) inner iterations
- The spatial order of accuracy is arbitrary and specified at runtime
- Fluxes can be calculated via an interpolation method or a weighted method
- The interpolated method is stable for higher order fluxes occuring in diffusive or elliptic problems
- The weighted method facilitates averaged or upwind fluxes
- A slope limiter is employed for non-smooth problems
Use the install script in the third party directory to obtain and build the necessary linear algebra packages, GotoBLAS and UMFPACK
cd thirdparty
./install.sh
Alternatively, edit the makefile to reference intel MKL libraries
Back in the root directory, build the solver
cd ..
make
Move into one of the example directories
cd cavity
Run the program with the input file as the sole argument
../isitek cavity.INS.input
Paraview can then be used to view the resulting vtu files
