We'll be working mainly from a public document called Computer Vision in Interactive Art which is part of a workshop. But there are a few links contained there that are also important references:
- Computer Vision for Artists and Designers by Golan Levin
- Interactive Art and Computational Design by Golan Levin
- Face Tracking Notes for Appropriating New Technologies / Face as Interface workshop
- Eye Tracking Notes for Appropriating New Technologies
- Computer Vision: Algorithms and Applications by Richard Szeliski
- DeepBeliefSDK implements Alex Krizhevsky's 2012 deep convolutional neural network architecture on the GPU in your browser to do image recognition.
- OpenCV-Processing book in progress by Greg Borenstein includes a great ontology of computer vision. He's also responsible for [Making Things See] (https://github.com/atduskgreg/Making-Things-See-Examples) which focuses on Kinect.
- IPhone 5s fingerprint recognition
- For a really great more academic introduction to computer vision that doesn't relate to art, see 3D Computer Vision: Past, Present and Future a presentation by Steve Seitz at Google.
- CV projects tumblr
All part of natural language processing:
