This document describes the functionality provided by the XL Release Http Get File plugin.

Overview

The XL Release Http Get File plugin provides a means to get the content of a file via an http GET request. The file content is placed into a release variable and is available for later processing.

  • XL Release 5.x

Installation

• Place the plugin JAR file into your SERVER_HOME/plugins directory.
• Restart the server

Usage

Create a task of type "HTTP Get File". Fill in the parameters.
