Description

Ntxuva is a PSMS (Participatory Service Monitoring System) platform packaged as a Drupal distribution.

This is an hybrid SMS/Voice/Web solution developed with support from the World Bank, to allow citizens to strengthen public services by activelly monitoring, reporting and evaluating them.

The platform was implemented in Drupal 7, and includes the Mark-a-Spot module for the web interface, the Drupal VoIP module for voice interface, Telerivet’s mobile messaging platform for the SMS interface and the Open311 API for Open Data.

Additional contributions include a front-end statistics javascript, that uses the API feed to calculate the average time it takes for the problems to be closed, the most frequent problem reported on the platform and the neighborhood that is most active reporting problems.

The platform also includes a "manager" user type that can edit the problems (change problem states), access statistics (custom made Dashboard in Javascript) and contact users via SMS to conduct polls and inquiries.
