The lix.csv file contains LIX of speeches given at the opening of the Danish, Swedish and Norwegian parliaments. The New Year's speeches given by the King or Queen of Denmark, the King of Norway, the Danish Prime Minister and the Norwegian Prime Minister along with the Christmas speeches given by the King of Sweden are also included. LIX is a measure of how difficult a text is to understand developed by Swedish scholar Carl-Hugo Björnsson. It is computed as follows:
LIX = A / B + (C * 100) / A, where
A is the number of words,
B is the number of sentences, and
C is the number of long words (more than 6 letters).
