The evaluation is based on the applicant's proposed project, its alignment with the Foundation's mission, and its potential impact on the community. There will be Semi-Finalist interviews where the top 16 applicants will be invited for a short interview the week of June 17th.
Grant recipients receive a $10,000 USD stipend, mentorship, and public-facing opportunities to showcase their work. They also gain access to the Processing Foundation's network of developers, artists, designers, activists, educators, engineers, researchers, and collectives to collaborate and exchange during and after the completion of their project.
