The aim of this project is to analyze a data set containing 80.000 transactions made by the customers of the retail Blackwell Electronics in order to identify clusters based on the customer behavior.
The variables contained in the dataset are:
Amount: The amount spent per transaction. The range is between $5 and $3000. Age: The age of the customer. The range is between 18 and 85 y.o. Items: Number of products bought per transaction. From 1 to 8 items. In-store: The channel used to do the transaction. 0 stands for an online transaction, 1 stands for an in-store shop transaction. Region: The region of North America where the transaction took place. 1 = East, 2 = West, 3 = South, 4 = Central.
