MPC-HC Looper 2021.3.25.17 B-RC (for Testing)
MPC-HC Looper v. 7-20-19 Release
Small feature-add for this release - I added the option to load an event, but not autoplay it - so you can double click on an event in the list, it will cue it up, and then wait for you to start playback.
Bug-fix release: Looper 3-13-19
While using Looper, I noticed 2 weird things that weren't working to my specification, notably the new "jump-back to Loop Mode" function I added when switching between files in MPC-HC (if you load a new file in MPC-HC independently of Looper, Looper switched back to Loop Mode automatically, which broke one of my uses for Looper) - I added a new conditional to account for this, so that's 100% good now.
I also noticed some weird speed loading issues when switching to new files, so I reorganized the procedure for loading new events when also switching new files at the same time, so that also should be 100% good now.
MPC-HC Looper v. 3-9-19 Release
Another new release of Looper! Quite a few changes since the last one, and several requested features have been added. Among the changes:
• Custom UDF for shading the events list (coloring, bolding, etc.) has been removed to streamline things. The currently playing loop now shows an arrow next to it.
• A new "Find File" dialog that shows up when an event can't find the media file it links to, which allows you to re-locate the missing media file, as well as change other events in the same .looper file that share that media file, and save those changes back to the original file.
• The ability to have custom repeat iterations for individual loops in Playlist mode (you can, for example, have 2 play one time, 3 play 4 times, 4 play 2 times (at 50% speed), and then play 5 6 times.) Each event in the events list can have its own setting.
• A new "Add Event"/"Modify Event" dialog that helps implement the above feature.
• The ability to stay in Playlist/Shuffle mode (instead of jumping immediately back to Loop mode) when opening new .looper files. You can also save this in preferences, allowing you to open a .looper file with Windows Explorer and jump immediately into the last mode you used.
• Fixed an oversight on using multiple instances of Looper/MPC-HC when MPC-HC uses an .ini file for its settings. Looper now looks at the registry, and INI files for both x86 and x64 versions of MPC-HC when doing its check.
