What we have today is a very special release of RDeeM! This release is compatible with both Apple Silicon computers running macOS (tested on macOS 14 on an M1 MacBook Air) AND with 64-bit Intel Macs running Mac OS X Snow Leopard or newer!!!!!
Changes
- New "Detect Displays" button. No more relaunching RDeeM to refresh your display list after you attach a new screen!!
- More menu and text fixes. I take this shit very seriously.
- Universal Binary .app bundle. See below if you are curious.
Files
Version 2.5 of RDeeM is being launched as a .dmg
file with a standalone .app
(recommended), as a .dmg
file with a .pkg
installer, and a naked .pkg
installer file.

Stuff for Nerds
This special Universal Binary release was made possible by running the compiled x86_64
Mach-O output from my Snow Leopard MacBook through the lipo
utility together with my Apple Silicon-native Mach-O output! Then all I had to do was run the later steps of my Makefile
another time with my new "fat" SetResX
binary.
